Terms for buying from us and using our site
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using www.generalflooring.com.cy (“the Site”) operated by M. Chr. General Flooring Co Ltd. (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site at www.generalflooring.com.cy.
By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms are defined in this Agreement.
The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by General Flooring and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature will survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

This Agreement (and any further rules, policies, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Changes to this Agreement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the “NEW” Terms and Conditions.
Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.
Collection of information
Users visiting www.generalflooring.com.cy are not obliged to provide any of their personal information unless they decide to do so on their own right. The users of our site are kindly requested to provide us information about their personal data only at registration, checkout process, subscribing to the General Flooring's newsletter list and through our contact form.
Correction, Modification or Deletion of Information
General Flooring allows its users to correct, change, complete, or delete data and information provided. If you choose to delete the information, generalflooring.com.cy will act so that such information is directly removed from files, after it will first try to identify the person requesting the change with the person to whom the information concerns. Terms and Conditions for using our e-store
General Flooring operates under the Trade/Registered Name ‘M. Chr. General Flooring Co Ltd.’, officially registered in Cyprus, EU, with Registration Number [E6366].
Security for your online transactions
General Flooring is in high consideration to ensure the security and integrity of data collected with regards to it’s registered users and is therefore making sure that the information you provide will be protected with all the means necessary. Such procedures protect the users data against any unauthorized access or disclosure, loss or misuse, and alteration or destruction. User’s sensitive information are never kept or transferred from/on our servers but instead users are redirected using a secure connection https/SSL protocol, with 128-bit encryption where in both payment cases (“you”) to they payment processor’s secure servers to complete checkout and payment.
Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) Protocol is the global standard in Internet for websites certification to web users and data encryption between web users and web servers.
Terms & Security of Transactions
By entering www.generalflooring.com.cy and using our electronic store, it is unquestionably deemed that you consent and unconditionally accept these terms making no exception.
If you do not agree with these terms, you must refrain from the use of this electronic store and any transaction made with it. The shipping of your order implies acceptance of this Agreement and all terms and conditions there of. You are therefore kindly requested to read them carefully.
It is also noted that the use or purchase of any other services supplied by the online shop of www.generalflooring.com.cy is subject to the current general terms.
The images, characteristics and descriptions of products provided by our affiliates and suppliers are relieved of any liability with regard to their content.
Products or Services (if applicable)
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
Prices listed on the website are in Euros and are including all tax burdens (% VAT), but excluding shipping costs. www.generalflooring.com.cy reserves the right to modify the product prices at any time. We are bound to apply prices quoted on the website at the time of your order. All additional costs (i.e. shipping costs) will be calculated both based on your location at the cart/checkout process as a single line cost for each additional fee respectively.
The reported products availability are indicative and not binding. We try our best to keep our e-store as up to date as possible. Even though our online stock is updated automatically, there is a possibility the ordered item(s) marked as “In stock” or “Available” will NOT be available in desired sizing and/or sold out. General Flooring will try to inform you as soon as possible when this occurs and give you alternative options where and if possible. If a product is “out of stock” then it will provide related information to the user (“you”) so that you can contact us and request more information about the particular unavailable product.
Orders should arrive within 2-10 workdays after we have received payment, depending on the destination. General Flooring is NOT responsible for any delays of your package during delivery, we have NO control over this. By placing an order with us, you accept the risk that your package may be delayed during shipment, due to unforeseen circumstances not controlled by us.
Additional information may be requested for your purchase validation. Therefore, and in order to avoid any delay, you are asked to make your order using one at least active and patented or professional email address and a valid telephone number so we can contact you at any time. Please note that a 24 hours delay is acceptable in terms of delivery of the order, because for security reasons, all orders paid by a credit or debit card are subject to verification by www.generalflooring.com.cy. We cannot be held responsible for consequences due to delivery delay or loss of your parcel caused by carrier.
Lost or Damaged Items
You understand and agree that General Flooring shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any of the services we provide. All items are purchased at your own risk. Any damage caused from shipping is to be taken up by you with the courier company. We will provide you with the tracking number and contact information for the courier company as needed.
Once this information is provided to you, it is your responsibility as the customer to contact and deal with the courier company. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages.
General Flooring provides you the following payment methods: pay by credit card, debit card, and through your PayPal account. We use a 128-bit SSL Certificate throughout the whole site providing secure and encrypted information parsing between sites for example information passing from our site to PayPal.
Returns and Cancellations
You may return your product/products providing that you follow the following guidelines:
Notify us of the product/products return by phone [Support: +357 22350526] or by email within 7 (seven) days of delivery.
Items will only be accepted if the item is unopened, unused, in its original packaging.
Return at our shop within 7 (seven) days from delivery or pick up date, along with the receipt of purchase. Return by using our courier service who can only collect during the daytime on weekdays (not weekends or Bank Holidays) within 7 (seven) days after the item is shipped or picked up. Please note that the customer ("you") is responsible to pay the costs of delivery for the product return. The product can be exchanged with voucher of equivalent value or with other product of equivalent value. In the case of higher value product, you will have to pay the difference between the amounts.
We will not accept any product returns in the case that more than 7 (seven) days have passed after the shipment or the pick up of the product.
You may cancel your order providing that you follow the following guidelines:
If you have chosen to pick-up from General Flooring Store, you can cancel your order at any time up to 2 (two) working days, after the order confirmation date, by calling +357 22350526.
If you have chosen the Home Delivery, you can cancel your order at any time before the product is handed to the delivery service. Although, you can return the product following our Returns Policy. You can cancel your Home Delivery, by calling +357 22350526, during the store opening hours.
General Flooring is not responsible for delays in carrying out orders (delivery included) due to circumstances not attributable to us. For example due to fault or major majeure that will be entitled to an extension of time for carrying the order out. I.e. In case of strikes, acts of terrorism, war, problems on suppliers / transports / production, fluctuations in exchange rates, governmental or legislative acts and natural disasters. Should such incidents last more than 2 months, either contracting party without compensation may terminate this Agreement.
All courier deliveries are fully insured. In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, claims should be made by email or by phone [Support: +357 22350526] within 48 hours of receipt.
Modification of Agreement terms
General Flooring reserves the right to modify or update the terms and conditions of trading. Such a modification or renewal will be effective from the time this text would be updated for any such change. Should any part of this Agreement be established void or unenforceable, the remaining Agreement will continue to apply.
Payment method and Customer Information
The name that will appear in your bank statement upon transaction completion will be <<GENERAL FLOORING>> so please refer to that as confirmation of payment on your credit card/bank statement.
Please have in mind that this reference name is only valid in the case where you pay with Braintree. In future addition of more payment methods any additional reference names will be provided corresponding to the payment method they apply.
